“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.” — Psalm 37:4
This past week, God reminded me how true this verse really is. As many of you already know, but I was privileged to release a full-length worship album with The Rock Music on a global level. I was also so thankful to be able to perform at our CD release party last Friday night. Thanks to all of you who have helped make this successful so far!
The reason this verse is personal to me today is simply because I have been praying (on a regular basis for 13 years), for the Lord to work in mighty ways through The Rock Music. This past week He answered that prayer.
The Rock Music has partnered with a record label to promote and market our newest album Awakened By Hope, and by God’s grace, we even reached Number 20 on iTunes new releases.
I know God is not done working yet and I am convinced that the best is yet to come. But, I am humbled to see how with pure and simple daily devotion to Him (delighting in the Lord), He answers the heart’s desires.
Let this verse be a reminder to all of us that God sees you and longs to bless you as His child. As we take delight in Him, He moves in our hearts and works our prayers for His great glory and our joy!
