As we continue to study the life of David, we’ll take a look at a Bible story that you’ve probably never heard taught at church, found in 1 Samuel 30. It’s the story of David, his men, agonizing defeat, and ultimately God’s amazing and surprising grace. The story takes place by a little stream in the Negev desert of Israel called “The Brook Besor.” Don’t feel bad if you’ve never heard of it. Few have.
