Join us this Easter as we experience a unique, two-week journey, that will take us from darkness to light and from death to life! Sonrise Easter Service
Are you an early bird who is excited to celebrate Easter? Join us on Easter Sunday at 8:00 a.m. as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus together! We’ll meet on the north lawn of the Draper location for a short, special, 45-minute Sonrise Service.

The Two Kingdoms
Each day, we are faced with hundreds, if not thousands of pressing cultural issues. They call us to respond. With eager eyes, we look to the election in hopes that this will lead to real opportunity for change. But, when we are honest, we’ve seen continued ongoing disunity despite which political party is in office. The narrative becomes: “When the other party is no longer in office, we will find solutions to the problems, because the problem starts with them. Or, inversely, as long as my party stays in power, we will prevent complete catastrophe.” The country is in war over: gender/sexual equality/sexuality, the racial divide, climate, sexism, abortion/women’s right to choose/pro-life, the election, gun control, immigration. How are we to act? How are we to speak? How are we to engage with our world? As a Church, how are we to speak with one another? Is the solution found in a political party? How does Jesus want you to engage with Him on these types of important cultural conversations?

We live in a polarized age. We all know it. And election years make it worse. “You have to vote, this is the most important election in the history of our country!”, “You can’t vote for him, he’ll ruin our country!” Sound familiar?
This spirit of division can easily enter the Church. Truth be told, it already has. While some Christians become radicalized, others grow disengaged. What is a “thinking Christian” to do? Should we have any of our hope in politics? How do they matter? How should Christians engage politically? What happens when we disagree with someone inside (or outside) the Church? Thankfully, God’s Word is full of practical truths to help answer these questions (and more). In this six-week series, we’ll take a closer look what His Word says for our political year.
