Hi, Rock Church! Starting the first weekend of October, we’ll begin meeting indoors again on Sunday morning! In fact, with the colder weather moving in, we’re planning on all three of our services being back inside the building.
Here are some things you should know:
Coffee:
Yes! We will be serving (literally) java again. Instead of self-serve, we will hand you your brew (as well as your creamers, sugar, etc.) Woo-hoo!
Kids Programs:
For now, classes will be available for Nursery – Kindergarten only. Older children will still remain in the service with their parents.
Services Times:
We will continue our one-hour service format, meeting Saturdays at 6:00 p.m., and Sundays at 9:30 and 11:15 a.m.
We have two options for wearing masks at church:
- Option #1 — Masks Encouraged: In keeping with state and CDC guidelines, we will be encouraging mask wearing when social distancing is difficult throughout the building.
- Option #2 — Masks Required: We will now offer a live stream of our service in our Adventureland Room for those people who desire a “Mask Required” option. Note: Space will be limited here.
Chairs:
We will space our chairs with wide rows, but not in clusters. We will encourage people to self regulate within each row and will post signs to that end.
Survey:
In order to help us plan and staff our indoor services, we will be asking people to fill out a short survey over the last two weeks of September. Here is the link: trc.life/survey
As always, we want you to know that we understand that many of you have solid, legitimate convictions, or matters of conscience, regarding your decision not to be involved in corporate meetings or fellowship at this time. We really mean it when we say, “There is grace!” It’s a weird time for the Church, for sure. We are for you and trust that the Lord is leading you during this time. We love you and miss you. Our livestream will be available as usual.
