We are currently looking for gifted musicians and vocalists interested in participating in and leading worship music at The Rock Church in Draper. We are looking for adults as well as youth who will be at least 12 years old (in 7th grade) by the fall of 2015. A few things we ask of you include:
- Be a believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Consider The Rock Church your church home – attend regularly, participate in serving in some capacity. (Typically, there is a waiting period for new musicians for ten months before having them lead worship. But please feel free to audition and talk with Jeff Porter about your interest no matter how long you’ve been serving.)
- Have a gift as a musician or vocalist.
- Make a video audition no more than 5 minutes long that demonstrates two or three different styles of music.
- Post the video to your YOUTUBE account and send a link to that video to Jeff Porter at drjnporter@msn.com.
- Please submit the video by February 15th. We will have a follow up “live” audition at a later date.
