As a dad, I am continually amazed by how much my little boy keeps growing and learning. He can bust out all of Michael Jackson’s dance moves, he can tell me about every slide at the park, and he ALWAYS remembers what I promised him we would do from the day before. (more…)

Typically, the best day of the week for me is Sunday. Not only do I have the day off from my day job, but I get to spend eight hours with my one year old son, while my wife is at work. The best part of the day is when my son wakes up from his morning nap. I open his bedroom door and he is standing there with a huge smile on his face waiting for me to rush over and pick him up, give him a kiss and play with him. (more…)

It was a bittersweet moment as we packed up our Sandy church building and moved into a temporary meeting location at Noah’s Event Venue (322 W 11000 S). God is doing amazing things at The Rock Church and we know that it is about the people and not the building! (more…)

I was recently struck by how God sometimes seems to choose the most unlikeliest of people to save. Even some of my dearest friends in the faith are people I never would have, in my wildest dreams, thought would become Christians. (more…)

I read this verse last week in my quiet time. What an exciting visual — God’s angels leading the way to a place Jesus has prepared for our church. I have been claiming this verse for a “home of our own” — our own Sandy/Draper facility — since 2006. (more…)
