Did God Really Say?

The first lie recorded in human history was one of doubting God’s goodness. The devil twisted what God said, and then used it to attack Mankind. Unfortunately, we bought into the lie and the rest is history. Fast forward to today. Our culture still believes the lie. The attack on Truth, the Bible, has never been more malicious. Ideas such as, “How can you believe the Bible when it blatantly promotes slavery and degrades women?” or “Look at how much murder, death and evil Christianity is responsible for.” or “The Bible is a homophobic book that threatens to send everyone to hell who doesn’t agree with it.” With people saying and believing things like this, it seems like Christianity has its back up against the wall. Or does it? Are these statements actually true? Or have people been deceived in this 140 character Social Media generation?

Join us at The Rock Church starting June 26, as we take a brutally honest look into these ideas and misconceptions. We’ll go back to the Source to see for ourselves… “Did God Really Say?”

Someone once said, “You can be so heavenly minded, you’re no earthly good.” If that is true, why talk about heaven at all? Who cares anyway? The truth is, nothing could be more relevant than our diligent study of heaven.

Draper Art & Music Show

Are you looking for a fantastic way to spend a Friday night? We’d love to have you join us at 7:00 p.m. on April 17 (11630 S. 700 E.), for the first ever Art & Music Show at the Draper location! Enjoy some awesome music by Terence Hansen, The Isaac Farr Trio and The Rock Music’s Sand, Sea, Sails (Caleb and Kelsea Yetton). There will be art exhibits by several local artists and of course, there will be the Waffle Love food truck, serving up all that is delicious! Provo Music & Art Show

Come and join us on Friday, March 6, as we host some fantastic local bands, featuring: Oh, Be Clever and Blackwave. There will also be some great art for sale from more local artists. Calling Draper Musicians!

We are currently looking for gifted musicians and vocalists interested in participating in and leading worship music at The Rock Church in Draper. We are looking for adults as well as youth who will be at least 12 years old (in 7th grade) by the fall of 2015. A few things we ask of you include:
