Hello, parents! I am happy to share another special video with you and your children. Today, we are going to talk about one of my favorite things to do in the whole world. We are going to talk about prayer.

It is so important for our kids to learn that Jesus loves it when they talk to Him. We can talk to Him anywhere, anytime, about anything. He is an awesome Father who loves to hear our prayers.

Mark tells us the life story of the King who came not to be served, but to serve. It’s an exciting account of the Son of God that could speak to both the Jews and the non-Jews of Mark’s day. In our study through the book of Mark, we’ll discover more about Jesus’ servant life, His ministry and the training of His disciples.

Speak Words of Life + What’s Happening

It feels like there is so much discouragement in our world right now. There is fear in what we are hearing and reading. Christian, did you know there is power in what you speak? Death and life are found in the power of the tongue.

I would encourage you to speak words of life into the world. When people are full of fear, we can proclaim that we have a good God who says, “Fear Not!” What a great time it is to show our faith to others and give them some good news.

Pour Out Your Heart Before Him + What’s Happening

Certainly, you and I are in a unique time. Psalm 62 says that at all times you should pour out your heart to God. He is the place where you should run to for your safety. You need to trust in Him. 

There is something very special about being able to pour out your heart to God. It connects your heart and mind to the Lord. You can verbalize what you are feeling before Him. This can help remind you to trust Him.

Fully Prepared, Kept Safe and Cared For + News

As Christians, we shouldn’t be living in fear. We should be living to glorify Christ — especially now. Most of those around us are crippled with the fear of needing to be fully prepared. We know that apart from God, there will never be enough to sustain us. 

Only in Jesus can we be fully prepared, kept safe and cared for. NOTHING will be able to separate us from the love of God, in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
