The Rock Church

Volunteering

Why should you volunteer?

"Each of us should use whatever gift he's received to serve others" 1 Peter 4:10.

It takes a lot of work for our church services to run smoothly each weekend. Without the faithful commitment of hundreds of volunteers, we couldn't do it. There are service opportunities for everyone - from the tech-savvy, to the kid lover, to the “people person”, to those who prefer to work behind the scenes. There is a place for YOU at The Rock Church.

If you consider us your church home, we encourage you to lend a hand. This not only helps our church function, but it also enables our community of believers to advance the Kingdom of Christ! We'd love for you to be a part of that.

How do I get involved?

If you‘re ready to volunteer, we’re ready to hear from you. All you need to do is fill out the form below. We’ll try to place you where you would most like to volunteer. If you have general questions, please email us at hello@trc.life and we will be happy to help.

Servant Honor Code

One thing we want to be faithful with, is having volunteers sign The Rock Servant Honor Code. The pastors feel that it is necessary that any person who wants to volunteer in a recognized ministry position, must agree to abide by our TRC Servant Honor Code. This is so that, by God’s grace, we would honor Christ in all that we do as individuals, representing TRC. It also helps maintain the integrity of our church. Here's the link to the Servant Honor Code. You need to read it and sign it BEFORE we get you on the volunteer schedule. We’ll be notified once you sign it and will contact you.

Planning Center Online

Planning Center online is a simple website that we utilize to manage and organize all our servants at the Rock Church. This allows us to best serve our church family in an efficient way. It also acts as a central location for communication between the ministry leaders and their teams to let them know current needs, information and when looking for replacements.

I have signed up, now what?

After you sign up, you will receive a welcome email from us via Planning Center Online, and a ministry coordinator will contact you with pertinent information such as what time you’ll need to arrive and an overview of what you’ll be doing.
