Our main goal in children's ministry at The Rock Church is to provide a nurturing, caring environment for all children to experience and learn about the love of Jesus Christ. The Bible makes it clear that God places a high value on a child's spiritual development, and so do we.
At both our Saturday and Sunday services, nursery care is provided for children up to the age of four. Kids in this age group might play some games and have a snack as well as do some coloring, singing or other fun activities designed to demonstrate that Jesus loves and cares for them.
At our Sunday service, kindergarten through sixth graders get
to experience our Rock the World Tours, an exciting adventure
that changes every week. Using the revolutionary new workshop
rotation model of Sunday school, each week your child will learn
a major Bible story and concept through kid-friendly multimedia
workshops — art (Creator's Studio), cooking (Garden of Eat'n),
video (Holyword Theater), and a computer workshop (fishermen.net).
They are taught the same Bible story in all of the workshops for
four weeks, rotating to a different workshop each week, which allows
them to experience the lesson from different angles while driving
home the message. Each class has their own personal tour guide
(or helper) who rotates with the children, giving them the stability
of knowing they will be with the same adult each week.
Whatever the ages of your children, we are committed to communicating the character of Christ in a tangible and practical way to both parent and child.
