As we prayed for unity for you as a team, we were led to 1 Corinthians 12:12-31, that you as a team are one body made up of many parts and that each part is essential to the whole body, just as each of you is an essential part of the team united in Christ. God has handpicked each of you to be there on this mission for Him to use your individual gifts and talents together as one to create a body greater than just an individual. (According to Aristotle,) “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” 1 Cor 12:24-25 says, “But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.” May you continue to work harmoniously together in this mission, this important piece of God’s plan!

Today as we prayed for the lives you have touched thus far and the lives they will then touch, God led us to pray that they, “Like newborn babies, CRAVE pure spiritual milk, so that by it [they] may grow up in [their] salvation, now that [they] have tasted that the Lord is good (1 Peter 2:2-3). You are planting seeds that the Lord will appoint local Saints to nurture, to grow to become part of the Revolution for Christ. We also pray that you remain as inspired for Christ as we have been inspired by all of you and God’s work you are doing to fulfill his great plan!

We are praying for you tonight before we lay our heads to rest, as you are rising in the morning 8 hours away… Our prayers tonight for you, for your “worship time” come from Psalm 33:1-5:
“Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre [I’ll add here… or shred on the electric guitar and the bass, rock the drum kit, or intimately lift your voices to the sounds of the acoustic guitar). Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all he does. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of His unfailing love.”
May you be renewed and rejuvinated through your worship time, your time to fellowship with our Father who loves you and loves what you’re doing. Please know that as we lift our voices as a church family tomorrow morning that you are with us, in our minds and hearts, drawn together by being filled with the same Holy Spirit, as one, unified voice singing His praises, streaming up to His throne in heaven!

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” We pray that even in times you cannot physically rest, that you find emotional and spiritual rest in the peace that comes from knowing Christ, knowing forgiveness and mercy and grace. Rest in the knowledge that God cradles you in His arms as you are his precious, precious children.

We also are praying for the fulfillment of the many prayers that go up for all of you by the minute. For the prayer cover frfom the saints as well as your own personal prayers as warriors in that dry and thirsty land, we claim Mark 11:24,
“THEREFORE I TELL YOU, WHATEVER YOU ASK FOR IN PRAYER, BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED IT, AND IT WILL BE YOURS.”
There’s undeniable power in prayer, so to those following the team on this blog, please continue to pray, pray, pray for these disciples. And to the team, rest assured that you are loved and looked after through our diligent pleas through prayer to our heavenly Father!

As we pray for you tonight specifically for “patience for each other”, we were led to Psalm 133, “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity…For there the Lord bestows His blessing, even life forevermore.”
I can’t imagine spending every waking moment of a journey such as yours even with my husband, whom I love and cherish and have become one with, without there being many a situation that calls for patience. I commend every one of yoy for loving each other so much that you would willingly commit to live and travel with the 29 other people in a foreign country, engaged fully in constant spiritual battle.
Remember the words in James 5:9-11, “Don’t grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door! Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.” May the Lord’s compassion and mercy inspire you to give the same grace to your brothers and sisters who are elbow to elbow with you, stay united in Christ and Christ’s love, knowing it’s that love we have for each other that sets us apart!
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Therefore, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ… Let [you] not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time [you] will reap a harvest if [you] do not give up. Therefore, as [you] have opportunity, let [you] do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”(Galatians 5:22, 6:2,9-10) We pray that you continue to take care of one another, build each other up, always keeping in mind the greater goal for which God has hand-picked each of you and the others on this team specifically for!
Love you and miss you!! The peace and grace of our Lord Jesus be with you!

“What’s gonna work?… Teamwork!”

(Troy says, “Kim & Steele, you’ll get that when you start having kids!”)
As we come together in prayer tonight, we pray for you to continue to work harmoniously together as a team, each of you an essential instrument in creating the melodious symphony of glory lifted to our Father in heaven through your noble works with our brothers and sisters in Christ there in Italy and Poland.
In praying for all of you tonight, God led us to the words of prayer of Jesus for His disciples in John 17:11, “Holy Father protect them by the power of your name - the name you gave me - so that they may be one as we are one.” And also verses 22-23, “I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”
I am struck by these verses, by the power we have in Jesus as our liaison with God. As much as we are praying for you, Jesus is praying for you even more so, more than we can even fathom. Each of you is so loved by all of us back at home, but Jesus’ love and concern for you trumps even the deepest love we have. And how great is it that He already knows all your needs. He anticipates your needs and is already praying to the Father for you! How awesome is that? Stand strong together, unified in Christ, you cannot fail with Jesus on your team!!

Ephesians 6:13-18
13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
WE ARE WARRIORS! READY FOR THE BATTLE! UHHHH!
read this today and thought of shannon and kim. miss you all and i am praying for you and your boldness!

Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” And Proverbs 16:9, “In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.” This just helps remind me that God is always in control and that His plans are so much greater than ours! We pray that you keep focused and committed to Him and know God’s got the rest!
We pray for travelling mercies and protective angels to get you and your stuff safely to your destinations, keeping in mind that any delays and/or hiccups along the way are planned out by our Lord. May God lead you, the faithful, to cross paths with those in need of Jesus’ saving grace, so that great things can happen. We pray that you be open and sensitive to the divine appointments God has set specifically for each of you. We pray for you to be able to recognize, discern and use those appointed moments as opportunities to see Him, praise Him and share Him. “‘It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority. But you will receive power whtn the Holy Spirit comes in you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’” (Acts 1:7-8)
May you be filled by the Holy Spirit with grace, joy and peace and above all the love of Christ Jesus our Lord as you witness to the ends of the earth! Our love to you all!

Our daily prayer for tomorrow for your “relations with the Poland Church” leads us to Ephesians 2:17-22. Ephesians 2:19 says, “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household.” And verse 22, “And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.” In Christ we are united, truly as one body, working together to share Him to the ends of the earth. We pray that you are able to break through any language or cultural barriers you encounter in Poland. God knows your hearts and we pray the church in Poland sees what’s in your hearts as well and welcomes you and loves you as much as we do here at home.
Ephesians 4:1-3 says, “…I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keepy the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Reading this makes me proud of each and every one of you because this is how you live your lives, this is exactly the example you all set. So, we pray that you continue to make this your character, not compromising even when you feel tired and beaten down. God will lift you back up, and we will continue to pray that He does.
We also pray that you with the Poland church refresh and renew each other, re-affirming your purpose over there. We pray you remain united as one body in Christ and that you provide them with needed support to help them grow and build up their church. “From Him the whole body joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” (Ephesians 4:16) You have all been called to do your own part in this journey. Bless you for answering the call and being such faithful servants! Love you!

After reading Steele’s post when he humbly asks, “Who are we to be used by Him?” God reminded me about Bill’s sermon a week ago about our identity in Christ. So to all the saints around the world battling in this spiritual war, God says in 1 Peter 2:9-10, “But you are a CHOSEN PEOPLE, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, a HOLY NATION, a PEOPLE BELONGING TO GOD, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”
That is who we are that He would use us. Once we accepted His gift of salvation, we were born again, as brand new creations, beautiful in His sight. We are already forgiven for our past sins, our present sins and the sins we have yet to commit. He placed His cloak of righteousness around us and He no longer sees us as the wickedness we once were, but as His beautiful, perfect, precious children, just as brand new parents looking at their newborn child for the first time. It’s all about love!
We pray for you saints holding down the fort at our sister churches and for our brothers and sisters getting ready to come home to us that you all remember who you are in Christ and know that He loves you and will NEVER leave you. You are His precious children in whom He is pleased. Anything you do in His name with a pure heart, He will use for good despite your fleshly iniquities and insecurities. We pray your faith be immeasurably strengthened by your experiences with God and each other the last few weeks. We pray that this be only the beginning of the Revolution and that the seeds planted find fertile soil in which to sprout roots. May the Lord keep you overflowing with His Holy Spirit that you may all be a source of spiritual water that nourishes those seeds.
To our brothers and sisters in Christ, in closing, “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love.” (1 Corinthians 15:13-14)
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Tonight we are praying for safe travel for all of you. We pray for travelling mercies and protective angels to surround you and bring you (and all your stuff) back safely into the arms of your church family here at home. We pray that things go smoothly at each junction and that the Holy Spirit fills each of you with a calming sense of peace to deal with the inevitable frustrations of travel. May you have a moment to reflect on the awesome work you have accomplished. May God warm your hearts with the knowledge and understanding that as His good and faithful servants, with you He is well-pleased! All these things we pray to our Father in heaven through Jesus Christ our Saviour!
