Becoming a Christian means you’re forgiven. Understanding your assurance of heaven helps you enjoy it! Do you have that assurance? The Bible says in 1 John 5:13, "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." Assurance is defined as a "guarantee, security, pledge, bond or obligation." The result of assurance is peace, joy, freedom, confidence, and hope.
