A popular phone company advertisement asks, “Can you hear me now?” Jesus asks the same question over and over in the scriptures. Jesus understood that most of us don’t have a “hearing” problem - but a “listening” problem. In this message we will explore some things that Jesus preached that caused the crowd to be understandably confused. They begin to grumble aloud: "Surely he doesn’t expect us to eat his flesh!?” As we study this passages we’ll focus on the four different “listening” responses and answer Jesus’ question to us: “Are you listening?”
