The Rock Church

The first line in Rick Warren’s best selling book Purpose Driven Life is, “It’s not about you.” This profoundly simple statement seems to fly right in the face of all that our culture constantly instructs us. In fact, the world tells us that our purpose in life is ALL about us! We are here to pursue our own happiness, and not much else. But the Bible communicates a different goal. Jesus tells us that we were put on this planet to contribute, and not just consume. Our purpose in life is to serve God and people-just like Jesus did. But how do we do that? Today we will look at three keys to serving like Jesus.
