Throughout the Old Testament, God revealed what to expect in the promised Messiah. One of the men God used to give His chosen people hope in the Messiah was the prophet Isaiah. He promised us a child would be born, and to us a son would be given. He also told us “His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” In part two of this series, we'll learn about Jesus, the promised Mighty God. We’ll also learn what having this Mighty God as a Savior means for us as His people.

Jesus has been called by many names throughout history. What title could accurately describe Him or explain His life? Who was this man from ancient Israel? Isaiah 9:6 says, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Join us this Christmas season for this special, five-part series looking at the names of Jesus spoken in this ancient prophecy.
