The Core: Discipleship, Humility and Hospitality
Discipleship — Doctrine by Pastor Josh Whitney (starts at 0:00) One of our primary goals in the Christian life is to see people brought to Christ. We then want to see them reach a level of maturity. As mature Christians, the people we help disciple should become disciple makers. In Part One of this ministry, we’ll introduce Discipleship and key motivations.
Humility — Character by Pastor Bill Young (starts at 15:10) Throughout history, we see that great men and mighty nations have fallen because of an abundance of pride or an absence of humility. Humility is character. Humility is in direct contrast to pride. Developing humility can and will bring success and prosperity to your business, your family, your friendships, your Small Groups and to your relationship with God. Retaining pride can bring discouragement and defeat.
Hospitality — Skill by Pastor Bryan D. Edwards (starts at 29:57) Hospitality is one of the most impactful ways to express the love of Jesus toward others. This applies to the people we see regularly at church and Small Groups, to strangers and to those who step into the local church for the first time. As followers of Jesus, the hospitality we demonstrate toward others is a Spirit-empowered practice. It will transform every one of our relationships in a truly God honoring way.

These times are a monthly, co-ed discipleship meeting with worship, teaching, empowering, envisioning and fellowship — all with the leaders and aspiring leaders of our church.
