Near the end of the third missionary journey, Paul and company are rushing to get back to Jerusalem. Paul doesn't have time to visit the church in Ephesus that he had been pastor of for three years, but he wants to exhort the leaders. In one of the most powerful speeches on church leadership, Paul reviews his testimony with them and charges the pastor and elders to shepherd, lead, care for, and protect the flock.
