So, the question becomes: "What happens to us the second we die?" We most often think of "Eternal Heaven" as what the Bible calls the New Earth - a place Christians live in forever, after the resurrection. But, the fact is, the Bible talks about a place we call the “Intermediate Heaven” - the place we go to right after we die, but before the New Earth.
