Hello Rock Church!
We have some very exciting news! After much prayer and counsel, we feel that the Holy Spirit is leading us to recognize and appoint five new pastors (same as “Elder”) and three new deacons. From the Salt Lake campus, we are planning on recognizing Austin Fredrickson, Billy Johnson, Bryan Edwards and Tony D’Amico as pastors (initially bi-vocational). From the Sandy campus, we are planning on recognizing Andrew Hale and Troy Morrison as deacons. And from the Provo campus, we are planning on recognizing Caleb Yetton (initially bi-vocational) as a pastor and Ramsey DeGeare as a deacon. These men are leading and significantly serving Jesus at The Rock in a variety of ways including: music, small groups, life groups, house churches, connections and other ministries. We plan on recognizing all eight of these men during our regular church service on Saturday, February 1, 2014. Please plan on joining us at this church wide celebration!
We are presenting this information for the purpose of getting input from the church. If you have concerns or praise regarding the character or ability of any of these men to adequately fulfill these leadership roles, please contact one of the current pastors before February 1st. And please be praying, this is a very exciting chapter in the history of The Rock!
Taking ground with you –
