    No one rises from the dead. Once you’re dead and buried, that’s it. And yet, Christians make a remarkable claim. They actually believe that Someone did rise from the dead. Join us this Easter as we take a look at the evidence for the Empty Tomb.

    Looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back—it was very large. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.Mark‬ ‭16:4-6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

  3. Freedom From the Fear of Death + What’s Happening by

    It’s easy to see all that is happening in our world and be fearful. But, our hope is in God. Our Lord has given us freedom. 

    Christian, we don’t have to fear. Jesus has the power to set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying. We have the opportunity to live out that freedom, right now.

  4. We Should Pray by

    How do we, as Christians, find peace during this current Coronavirus crisis? First and foremost, we should pray. Praying is the antidote to our fear.

    Paul gives us some timely advice in Philippians 4:6-7 which will help us guard our hearts and minds with the peace of God — a peace that surpasses all understanding.

    For I Am With You

    Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. — Isaiah 41:10

    We live in unprecedented times. The threats of deadly disease, market crashes and global calamities can create a crisis of fear and panic throughout our world. It even reaches into the local church.

    How do we respond when our lives get hit by trials and uncertainties? If we are not vigilant, fear is waiting and threatens to derail us from the plans God has for us. In this series, we will look into God’s Word. We’ll see what the Author of Life teaches us about overcoming our fears, trusting in His promises and walking with courage and hope.

    Hello, Church!

    It’s obvious we are entering into uncharted territory and many people are confused and fearful of the future. That is understandable. But, let’s make sure we put our trust in God and direct our fears to Jesus. I love what it says in 2 Timothy 1:7, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.” Amen!
