Our church has a short yet exceedingly rich history. After starting with just two families in 1999, we now have a vibrant church of almost 1,000 people meeting each weekend in five services at three locations! We’ve seen miracle after miracle as many hundreds have become Christians and have been baptized. Beyond a doubt, God has been good to us, and we desire Christ to get all the glory! After all, it’s His church.

Yet the story of The Rock is more than just growth in numbers. We all want the church to grow, but it must be the right kind of growth! Our previous growth resulted from uncompromising Bible teaching, personal commitment to the Great Commission, and genuine love for others. Our purpose has always been clear — God has called us to win the lost, build the believer, and send the sanctified. And we’ve done just that.

As the Rock continues to grow, we prayerfully look to the future with great expectations. We believe God wants to do something amazing and incredible, even miraculous. We believe He wants us to have 20 church services at The Rock’s multiple locations by the year 2020! We’ve started five — just 15 more to go!

We believe that in order to accomplish this remarkable faith goal, many things will need to happen. The primary objective in meeting this goal is acquiring a permanent facility in Sandy, which will be the first building The Rock has ever owned. In other words, for the very first time, we’ll have the roots we need so we can begin growing deep for further reach!

As Isaiah 43:19 says, “See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” Amen! God is doing a new thing in Utah, and we’re blessed to be a part of this amazing journey of faith. Won’t you join us?
