God has been faithful to The Rock Church for almost 25 years. He has changed countless lives and allowed us to see thousands of salvations and baptisms. And He has done it through your generosity!
We currently owe ~ $1.14 million on our building loan with a $14,000/month mortgage payment. Just think about what we could do if we eliminated all that debt in 2024. The possibilities aren’t hard to imagine. We could plant new churches, begin a building addition, create more services, or engage in more outreach. Without a doubt, even more lives would be changed. Won’t you join us by investing in an incredible future for The Rock Church? People’s lives will be transformed because of your generosity.
We are on mission! In our never-ending effort to love God and people, we will join together as a church for our annual Mission To The City (August 19-26). This is an incredible opportunity for you, your family, and your friends to go on mission right here in Utah. We have over 25 projects with 300 different volunteer slots available. You don’t want to miss out on this chance to make a huge impact in people’s lives. You can volunteer in as many areas as your schedule allows. Please contact Pastor Mac with questions (mac@trc.life).
Each mission below has an individual sign up. Please read through the description and follow the sign up link. Feel free to sign up for as many missions as you can.
My family and I have been incredibly blessed to be part of what God has been doing in Utah for the last 24 years. So many lives have changed. We’ve had the privilege of working side-by-side with Gospel-minded people daily; and the Spirit of God continues to move in extraordinary ways. I certainly believe we came here on the wings of prayers from the faithful saints before us. They were people who recognized the need for workers in this place. Prayer warriors, maybe even some of you reading this? It reminds me of this verse.
“These were his instructions to them: “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” — Luke 10:2
Not long ago, I taught about our church’s mission centered around “Winning the Lost, Building the Believer, and Sending the Sanctified”. We can approach this mission in several ways, but being hospitable certainly opens doors to winning others.
“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” — Hebrews 13:2 (ESV)
What is the purpose of the Christian life? What has Jesus saved us for? As Believers, are we simply biding our time on this earth until we get to heaven …? Or, could there be a higher calling on our lives — a kingdom calling? We believe there is.
“Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” — 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)
Can you believe it? Winter is over and spring is already upon us! It seems as if this time of year brings new and exciting opportunities for us to labor hard for Jesus (and for me to start preparing my garden).
At The Rock Church, we are on a mission. We want to win the world — one life at a time, one world in our lifetime. To see this happen, our Mission Statement is Win the Lost, Build the Believer and Send the Sanctified. This has been our heart for over 20 years — we pray it will be for 20 more.
With the exception of the missions highlighted in red below. Please contact the leader to sign up.
