The Rock Music has some exciting news for you! As we continue our look back through the history of TRM, we have released a live performance of the song “Nothing Left to Pay” by Paul Porter and Natalie Amano.
A few weeks ago, I was contacted by a woman in our church who wanted to be baptized (even with everything going on around us). She was persistent in her request and not to be deterred.
Consequently, we baptized her and it was so much fun! She had such joy obeying Jesus in this way. We were overjoyed to grant her request.
As you may have heard, the governor of Utah announced on Wednesday (May 6, 2020) that churches could start meeting again (provided they follow basic social distancing guidelines). The Rock Pastors have been reading through these guidelines, talking with doctors and state officials, and praying. We are currently considering reopening our church sometime in June. There will obviously be countless details to figure out in the coming weeks. We need God’s wisdom and guidance through all of this.
Having said
that, there are some things we want you to know during this process:
Psalm 96 tells us over and over to sing to the Lord. Maybe you are like me and have noticed how easy it is to have your eyes on yourself? One of the quickest ways to get your eyes on Jesus is to sing to Him.
Today, find
ways to sing to Jesus. Tune in to a local Christian radio station, find a worship playlist on Spotify or even go to therockmusic.org and listen to worship music for free. Sing to the Lord.
Publish His glorious deeds.
Hello, parents! I’m excited to share this special video with you and your family. We’re going to talk about springtime and God’s care for us. We will also talk about the fact that we don’t have to worry.
Watch the video above to have your children sing along and hear this important lesson about worry.
I have a thought for you from the book of Ruth. Ruth’s mother-in-law, Naomi, experienced tragedy after tragedy. But, Naomi insightfully understood that everything that happened in her life was from the hand of the Lord. This gave her strength in the midst of tragedy.
As
Christians, we need to understand that God is in control of both the good
things and the troubles that are in our lives. That should give us the strength
we need to weather the trials and storms that come.
The Rock Music is excited to announce the release of their latest single “The Lord Reigns”. This new worship song proclaims God’s sovereignty and Lordship along with His incredible majesty. These truths of who He is are certainly what we need to be reminded of at this time.
Songwriters Caleb and Kelsea Yetton have created an emotional anthem from the verses in Psalm 93. Seeing Jesus reign in such a way that His majesty and strength are His clothing — “That imagery intrigued me,” Caleb explained. He started to flesh out the song and then Kelsea helped him further shape the verses and the bridge. Together, they brought the song to life.
Hello, parents! I am happy to share another special video with you and your children. Today, we are going to talk about one of my favorite things to do in the whole world. We are going to talk about prayer.
It is so important for our kids to learn that Jesus loves it when they talk to Him. We can talk to Him anywhere, anytime, about anything. He is an awesome Father who loves to hear our prayers.
It feels like there is so much discouragement in our world right now. There is fear in what we are hearing and reading. Christian, did you know there is power in what you speak? Death and life are found in the power of the tongue.
I would encourage you to speak words of life into the world. When people are full of fear, we can proclaim that we have a good God who says, “Fear Not!” What a great time it is to show our faith to others and give them some good news.
