The Rock Kids
Our main objective in children’s ministry is to provide a nurturing, caring environment for all children to experience and learn about the love of Jesus Christ. Nursery care is lovingly provided for children up to the age of four, while kindergarten through fifth graders participate in a variety of exciting adventures that rotate each week. The goal is to teach a Bible story through kid-friendly activities such as games, arts and crafts, and video. Whatever the ages of your children, we are committed to communicating the character of Christ in a tangible and practical way.

The Rock Youth Group
We value personal relationships very highly at The Rock Church. One of our greatest concerns and commitments is to develop strong families. This has been our heritage and one of our greatest treasures. Because of those desires, our Youth Group follows a Parent-Led Model. The main difference between our Youth Group (and the typical model at most other churches), is that our Youth Group is led and taught by dads — this is no doubt a little different from what you might be used to. That’s okay, new can be good. We feel that this model has had tremendous success and we’re excited to share it with you!
Our Youth Group is open to 6 – 12th grade and if you would like a detailed description of our Youth Group vision, we have provided a PDF for you to read through as well as the calendar for the year. The Youth Group meets most Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. at the church building (more details at the Youth Group schedule link). Contact pastor Josh Whitney if you have any questions.

The Rock Men
The Rock Men is not only designed to challenge men to grow in their faith and relationship with Christ, it’s also designed to give them opportunities to enjoy fellowship with each other. Special events are planned throughout the year — times that will closely complement our monthly meetings (and weekly men’s accountability groups). You will learn to love God, develop as a leader, and grow in the relationships around you. We’ll have times to enjoy fellowship with other men, eat good food, hear practical teachings or even go to a Jazz game. We want YOU to become the man God has called you to be. Whether you’re single or married, a youth or a grandfather, The Rock Men is for you. Questions? Please contact Steve McInroy at mac@trc.life.

The Rock Women
Women have a unique way of ministering to each other as they juggle the many roles they fill every day. Itʼs challenging to be a Christian woman in this day and age, knowing what you need to do and what do you have time for. How does the Lord fit into our very busy lives? At The Rock Church, we work hard to supply women with the opportunities and tools they need to learn how to grow closer to the Lord. At the same time, they need to develop those important relationships with other women who share their struggles and victories (and seasons of life) – young moms, busy families, empty nesters, working singles. We also encourage you to possibly join a women’s Small Group to help you connect with other women. Questions? Please contact Mary Young at mary@trc.life.
