This is the perfect time of year to invite a friend, co-worker, neighbor or family member to church! We’d love to have them join us during our Christmas Series called God With Us. It says in Matthew 1:23, “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him ‘Immanuel’ — which means, God with us.” During this Christmas season, we will reflect on the birth, humanity, divinity, and saving power of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Psychology is the study of the mind and its effects on human behavior. What we believe really does affect how we live. In this message, we will discover how the truth of what God says impacts our minds, which in turn transforms our actions. What’s the big deal about Jesus anyway? Is He truly The One Christians claim He is? Does Jesus honestly have an impact on our lives today? We live in a world that has global influencers around every corner. From TikTok stars to political leaders, their imprint is worldwide. Because of that influence (and our society’s significant progress socially, economically, technologically and scientifically) it has become very easy for us to ask, “Does Jesus even matter anymore?” Many people think Jesus seems just, well, a bit… outdated. In our new series, “The ___ One” we will clearly see that there has never been another person like Jesus. While He is undeniably controversial (being both hated and loved) no one is more important to our existence. Throughout history, people have sought to “fill in the blank” to describe or categorize His impact. However, of all the leaders, movements and religions in the world, Jesus has had, and continues to hold, the supreme position. Without a doubt, He is The One. Join us for this six-week series as we examine the difference Jesus makes and understand why we can’t live without Him. The ___ One series runs: August 27 to October 2, 2022.
