This is the perfect time of year to invite a friend, co-worker, neighbor or family member to church! We’d love to have them join us during our Christmas Series called God With Us. It says in Matthew 1:23, “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him ‘Immanuel’ — which means, God with us.” During this Christmas season, we will reflect on the birth, humanity, divinity, and saving power of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Pillars of Truth
As we approach the middle of 1Timothy, we find him stressing the importance for the church to remember who they are and what they believe. These verses are just as important for us today; we, too, are called to be living pillars of the truth of the Living God.

In this first part of our study of 1Timothy, Paul urges Timothy to stay in Ephesus to deal with false teachers. Many of their false teachings are lies we can still believe today. Paul reminds Timothy of the timely and encouraging truths he (and we) need to stay focused on.
