Hearing From God
A popular phone company advertisement asks, “Can you hear me now?”. Jesus asks the same question over and over again in the Scriptures. He understood that most of us don’t have a “hearing” problem, instead, it’s a “listening" problem. In this message, we’ll explore some of the things that Jesus preached about that caused the crowds to be understandably confused. They begin to grumble aloud — "Surely he doesn’t expect us to eat his flesh!?”. As we study these verses, we’ll focus on four different “listening” responses and answer Jesus’ question to us — "Are you listening?”.
