Serving Like Jesus
The first line in Rick Warren’s best selling book (Purpose Driven Life) is, “It’s not about you.” This profoundly simple statement flies right in the face of all that our culture shouts at us. The world tells us that our purpose in life is ALL about us! We are here to pursue our own happiness and not much else. But, the Bible communicates a different goal. Jesus tells us that we were put on this planet to contribute, not just consume. Our purpose in life is to serve God and people — just like Jesus did. How do we do that? We will look at three keys to serving like Jesus.
