Spiritual Discernment in the Storm

Delighting in God\'s Word

Nobody likes to talk about suffering and affliction. But the reality is we will all experience it (in some degree) in our lives. And when a Christian is walking through the storms of life it can be very difficult to see God's hand in it. In this message, we are going to talk about the reality of pain and affliction in this world, the lies we tend to believe, and the spiritual discernment to see God's goodness through it all. Part Eight Delighting in God’s Word Series “Spiritual Discernment in the Storm” (Psalm 119:65-72) Pastor Bryan D. Edwards February 25 & 26, 2023

From Series: "Delighting in God's Word"

What do you delight in? What brings you joy or pleasure? When was the last time you truly adored something? To delight is to be greatly pleased and Psalm 119 is full of this wonder. It is the longest chapter in the Bible and likens His Word to honey for our lips and a lamp for our feet. There is joy, freedom, and praise to be found in this psalm. This series explores why God’s Word is worthy of our delight and is written to connect us to Jesus.
