Three Moms Worth Imitating

Mother\'s Day

We want to honor mothers. The Bible clearly states that honoring our parents is the first command with a promise attached to it. Moses says in Exodus 20:12, "Honor your father and your mother, that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth." Wow! To honor something means to revere or respect it; we are not to take it lightly. We realize that mothering is the hardest job on earth, yet often goes unnoticed. The world doesn’t value you as a mom. We want to change that thinking by talking about three great moms in the Bible — and what makes their lives worth imitating.
