Genesis Flood Class Part Two

There is more than one interpretation of the geological record. This lecture will compare the Uniformitarian and Catastrophic interpretations. Along with that, there will be a closer look at what the inundatory and recessive stages of a Flood might have looked like. Wrapping it up will be an examination of Mount Saint Helen’s as a case study.

From Series: "Genesis Flood Class"

Is God out there? Does He interact with our world? We can feel small in a huge universe, and sometimes God feels light years away. We want reassurance that He is active and present in our world, a personable Author engrossed in His story. In our “Genesis Flood Class,” Pastors Josh Whitney and John Meyer take us on a journey through God’s work and activity in our world by examining the geological evidence for Noah’s Flood. This class is lecture-intensive, with six, 90-minute sessions. Once you know what to look for (and where to look), you’ll see evidence for the Flood all around you. Learn to recognize the signs of a global water catastrophe and you’ll never see our planet’s surface in the same way again — or question your place in God’s story.
