Effects and Affections (John 11:45-12:8)

Knowing Jesus: Provo

n Part Twenty-two of our "Knowing Jesus" series, we will be taking a look at John 11:45-12:8. In this section of verses, we will see the Jew's response to Jesus' miracle of raising Lazarus from the grave, and the effect this miracle will have on His eventual death sentence. We will also take a look at two drastically different sets of affection for Jesusfound in Mary (the brother of Lazarus) and Judas (Christ's own disciple).
