The Promise of Forgiveness

The promise of forgiveness for the Christian believer is this: all of our sins are forgiven! This means we have been set free from the burden of sin and slavery. But do we live like we are forgiven? It says in Galatians 5:1, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” In this message, we will dispel the lies we so often believe and look at six unbelievable promises of forgiveness that will set you free to live the blessed Christian life you have always dreamed of.

From Series: "The Essentials of Forgiveness: Draper"

Mark Twain once said, “Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heal that has crushed it.” The problem is, most Christians don’t even understand the basics of what God’s forgiveness really means, let alone know how to apply forgiveness to others or themselves. In this 5 week series we will discover the very essential elements of forgiveness that are so crucial for living the full—and free—Christian life.
