Astonished (Galatians 1:1-10)

Galatians offers us a simple and compelling message: Freedom comes not from rules or the lack of rules, but in a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The only true freedom is the freedom that comes from knowing Him as Savior and Lord. Those who Christ sets free are free indeed. In his letter to the Galatians Paul is astonished by the backsliders of his time and he heroically communicates the key to freedom in Christ and attacks his naysayers. We need the same courage today (as was produced in Paul by the Holy Spirit) to help us in communicating true liberty to our dying world. Join us for Part One of this ten part study through the Book of Galatians.

From Series: "The Book of Galatians: Provo"

The Book of Galatians is one of the Apostle Paul’s most impassioned and eloquent letters. It warns Christians about the dangers of both legalism and lawlessness, calling Believers to live in the freedom of a gospel-shaped life. Throughout this book we will encounter the promises, warnings, and gospel declarations that will help us find true liberty in our identity as God’s adopted children. Join us at The Rock Church for a ten-part series at all of our locations. We'll discover the freedom found in the statement, "salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, because of Christ alone”.
