Death to Life Easter Services

The last week of Jesus’ life changed the world. Imagine the contrast of emotions that His disciples experienced during the final days before His death. Join us this Easter as we experience a unique, two-week journey, that will take us from darkness to light and from death to life! April 13/14 and April 20/21 (Saturday 6:00 p.m., Sunday 9:30 & 11:15 a.m.).

Comforted (1 Thessalonians 3:6-13)

The Apostle Paul opened his heart and shared his great concern for the struggling Thessalonian church at the beginning of this book. He knew they were suffering and he wrote to encourage and strengthen their faith. Paul is now greatly relieved and comforted by the report he received from Timothy (regarding the strong faith of the Thessalonians). He shares some loving words of comfort with them. He prays for this young church. We will see two examples of how we should comfort others with the comfort we ourselves have received. Ultimately, we must ask ourselves the question, "Would Paul be comforted by our faith?" Would Jesus?
