Gospel

As we continue to study the life of David, we’ll take a look at a Bible story that you’ve probably never heard taught at church, found in 1 Samuel 30. It’s the story of David, his men, agonizing defeat, and ultimately God’s amazing and surprising grace. The story takes place by a little stream in the Negev desert of Israel called “The Brook Besor.” Don’t feel bad if you’ve never heard of it. Few have. David’s response to these difficult circumstances is pure gospel. Today, we’ll learn three gospel lessons from the Brook Besor.
