The Core: Skill — Family Devotions by Pastor Josh Whitney

Family Devotions is a regular time when you focus on your relationship with God — as a family. This usually involves reading, discussing and responding to God’s Word. Family Devotions can also include many other experiences that will help grow your kid’s relationship with God (i.e. family prayer, reading a Christian book, watching a good Christian video, etc.). Family Devotions is a way that parents can pass on and teach the next generation the importance of God’s Word. Discussion Question: 1. What is one Family Devotions idea you would like to implement? From Series: "The Core"

At The Rock Church, part of our Mission Statement is to Build the Believer. We want to find long-lasting ways to do that and believe our newly developed Core Meeting is just that! These times are a monthly, co-ed discipleship meeting with worship, teaching, empowering, envisioning and fellowship — all with the leaders and aspiring leaders of our church.
