The Rock Church supports a lot of amazing compassion ministries. We feel that it’s important to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Making a difference in even one life is significant. Think, then, of being part of a ministry network that can help thousands of needy children and families! What an opportunity to practically help those in need in our community. That’s why we’re partnering with CarePortal and adding them to our Cares Ministry. We want to help make a difference by meeting these very real needs for foster children and their families.

Did you know that The Rock Music has been creating original music for over 15 years? The album Anything was our very first album released back in 2003. Since that time, we have a total of 19 separate projects/releases — 186 different songs!

The Gospel of Mark tells the life story of the King who came not to be served, but to serve. It’s an exciting account of the Son of God that could speak to the Jews and the non-Jews of Mark’s day. In our study through the book of Mark, we’ll discover more about His servant life, His early ministry and the training of His disciples.

Have you ever taken a moment to consider the difference a church can make? I like to think about the church’s influence in terms of widening ripples in a pond. It starts with an individual who walks through the doors as a stranger to Jesus — and walks out a new creation in Christ. The ripples widen as their family visits the next week. Soon, the church has grown in size and influence in the community. It becomes an anchor that changes the lives of not just those who attend each week but also those who benefit from the love the church lavishes on those around them. By being the hands and feet of Jesus, the local church becomes not an institution but a family, a safe place where people can grow in faith and support one another through the ups-and-downs of life.
