“Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.…For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” — Psalm 100:3-5
“But we had to celebrate and be glad….” — Luke

This past weekend, we celebrated our twenty-year anniversary! We sang songs, honored people, heard stories, looked back, laughed, cried, ate good food, listened to jazz, bounced, climbed, rejoiced and thanked God for His amazing goodness. It was a fantastic weekend — God was honored!
It has been twenty years since we had our first church service at the Alta Canyon Sports Center on October 17, 1999! God has been unbelievably faithful to us — we have reason to celebrate. Literally, thousands of people have gotten saved and baptized. Hundreds of lives, marriages and families have been transformed by the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Getting married and raising a family can often resemble a family road trip! With so much excitement and anticipation to get started, we almost can’t wait. But, we must not forget the preparing and planning that needs to happen first. You’ll need clear direction as you encounter challenges and difficulties. There will be new experiences, joy, laughter and incredible memory-making moments. Through it all, you’ll draw closer to one another as you experience this journey called life.
The Great Adventure series will help you navigate your marriage and parenting adventure by looking to the greatest guidebook of all time — the Bible.
At The Rock Church, part of our Mission Statement is to Build the Believer. We want to find long-lasting ways to do that and believe our newly developed Core Meeting is just that! These times are a monthly, co-ed discipleship meeting with worship, teaching, empowering, envisioning and fellowship — all with the leaders and aspiring leaders of our church.
“Deliver those who are being taken away to death,
And those who are staggering to slaughter, Oh
hold them back. If you say, ‘See, we did not know this,’ Does He not consider
it who weighs the heart? And does He not know it who keeps your soul? And will
He not render to man according to his work?” — Proverbs 24:11-12
“By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word
of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.”— Hebrews 11:3
