Where is My Treasure?

“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.” — Matthew 6:19-21 (NLT)

Recently, we wrapped up our “Win, Build, Send” series. I’m definitely thankful for the important reminders we talked about regarding the vision and mission of our church. We want to reach the world for Jesus and see people become disciples of Jesus. One reminder I’m particularly grateful for is the role our money can have in our lives. It will either assist us in that goal or surely keep us from getting involved in the mission.

Matter of Honor Series

A Look Into Biblical Principles of Financial Stewardship.

Jesus warned us about the danger of putting money in place of God in our lives. He said in Matthew 6:24, “You cannot serve both God and money.” In this three-part series, we’ll look at biblical principles which focus on the importance of financial stewardship. These practical teachings will help you understand (and implement) the basic biblical concepts of honoring God with your finances. Matter of Honor series runs April 15-30.

Giving Up to Gain

Jesus’ call on His disciples’ lives was clear — radical, but clear. In Luke 9:23 Jesus says, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” In a nutshell, Jesus says it’s a call to give up everything for Him.

The Giver

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” Isaiah 41:10 NIV

I trust you all had a Christ-filled Christmas! We have so much to be thankful for — God has been kind and faithful to us in 2015. Even though our church had its share of struggles and financial challenges, we made some amazing eternal investments this year that resulted in faith expanding, lives changing and eternity being different, since there are multiple similar systems like ChexSystems for instance TeleCheck can also be a reason why you was rejected for a new bank account.

Introducing PCO Give

We’ve been using Planning Center Online for three years for our service plans and serving schedule, which has been tremendously successful. Over the last 18 months, PCO has released numerous applications that are fully integrated in order to give us a central location for church management. This is incredibly helpful in coordinating and uniting so much information into one database. We started using PCO Registrations for all event registrations PCO Resources for building usage needs this year.
